Description
The Hairy Grenache, or as it is also called Vernatxa Borruda, in our town, is one of the variants of Black Grenache, more typical of our territory.
This wine has its origin in a hairy Grenache, planted more than 40 years ago in a honeycomb.
We select the grapes, placing them in small boxes to transport them to the cellar.
It is fermented in stainless steel, using the action of wild yeasts. After fermentation, it is placed in the oak barrels to age and for 4 months, stirred with the batonnage. Aging is maintained until it reaches the optimum point of aromas and the desired flavour, transferring it directly to the bottle without filtration.
Very bright cherry red. On smell, we notice the red, ripe fruits, combined with soft spices and balsamic touches. Fresh palate, with many nuances of fruit and balsamic. Fresh and friendly wine that shows great typicality.
